Program

Capetown - Helicopter flight

We'll meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. For our tour, we chose a secluded 5 * boutique hotel in the most peaceful area of Cape Town - the Waterfront. It is absolutely safe and very picturesque, so you can walk around and take photos. It is also very quiet - you’ll fall asleep to the distant cries of seagulls and the smooth splashing of the waves.

In the afternoon, you’ll get to enjoy a helicopter flight and the most stunning views of Cape Town. Your bird’s-eye view will show you the Cape and its picturesque surroundings: Table Mountain, Lion's Head, Signal Hill, the Atlantic coast and more. You’ll see the entire city - from the skyscrapers to the shantytowns.

*The helicopter takes off and lands very smoothly. Even if you get carsick, you will be fine on a helicopter. We checked :)

In the evening, we will go to a traditional meet and greet dinner at a restaurant with a panoramic view of Cape Town. We’ll get to know each other better, all while sampling some of the finest dishes this city has to offer. It’s no wonder that Cape Town is considered one of the world's food capitals!

The trip to South Africa was truly perfect in every way🙏🏻 I don't even know where to start: we fell in love with the NePaketniki team all over again; we now dream of sending our parents on the same tour; on our very last day my husband and I both cried with joy at all the adventures we had and with sadness that the adventures were over; our incredible travel bosses were absolutely fantastic, as was the organisation of the tour :) And despite the fact this trip took place a while ago, we still feel thrilled and excited by our memories of it🙏🏻

And our travel bosses... the girls exceeded all expectations! Natalie is a mother who always made sure that everyone was warmly dressed, well fed and well rested. When I got food poisoning (not part of the tour program, I did that all on my own 😂), and I simply asked her for pancreatin, she handed over a whole huge first aid kit with medicine for all possible gastrointestinal problems, gave me detailed instructions for every pill, wanted to rush to our hotel and said to call at any time of day or night 🙈 Nastya Chaechka is our bff, it was always cool to hang out with her, take a walk, or just chat :) She supported us during and after the tour and gathered us for various activities, suggested a super cool idea of a picnic on the beach, where we ate, chatted and played games🙏🏻 She and Stephen are like a stand-up show in general😂 She is super cool and we felt very close to her🙏🏻

The girls were really great - they were pleasant, and interesting, and super caring, and very sociable, and they made sure everything was on track. They always kept everything under control, and knew exactly how to quickly resolve any and all issues. I really didn’t expect this, I thought that they would just be pleasant professionals ... But everything exceeded my expectations by 1000% 🙏🏻

Hotels, restaurants, activities - it couldn't have been done any other way, because it was perfect🙏🏻 I was delighted with all the hotels, especially the winery - it's something extraordinary😍 But it probably won me over with its location, and the mountains all around, because the rest of the hotels were just as great 🙏🏻

The fine-dining restaurant was out of this world, and my husband loved the meat place most of all 🙏🏻

As for the timing - there were several moments when Nikita and I discussed how everything was just perfectly planned out. I really don’t remember what these situations were, because they were minute, but as we all know, the details are what make up our overall impressions.

The program and all of our adventures - I'm telling you, we actually cried on the last day. It was just unreal 🙏🏻

But for me, of course, the most important thing is always concern for other people🙈 And this was illustrated perfectly after the tour, when we all got stuck there. Buying tickets, transferring tickets, resolving the visa issues, worrying about whether they will put us in quarantine in Kyiv, returning the second tickets - you were not obliged to do all this, but you did. And this is such a high level not only of service, but of human kindness and care, so thank you so very much for that 🙏🏻

In October, I was lucky enough to go to one of the countries that seemed almost inaccessible and impossible to visit; to the very edge of the world - to South Africa. Delightful Cape Town, the ancient Table Mountain, the Cape of Good Hope, the Cape of Storms, Hermanus - the capital of whales... all of those places exist and are even more beautiful than you could ever imagine. South Africa has it all: two great oceans, elephants and giraffes, penguins and seals, gold and diamonds, excellent local wines, beautiful modern cities, excellent hotels with impeccable service and restaurants with molecular gastronomy, plywood shacks. This country provides the perfect opportunity to plunge into Africa's exoticism and at the same time not give up European comfort.

And if you go, then go for something you will not see anywhere else. As we drove along in a car, large, beautiful, wild animals emerged from the yellow-gray dust to meet us: rhinos, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, zebras, magnificent giraffes. They calmly looked at us, clearly viewing our car as part of the landscape. Only a cute mischievous ostrich chased us for a bit - he definitely had a spring in his step! The lion was busy with a personal matter with his girlfriend, so he growled at us a couple of times: oh dear, here are these people again! go on then, take your photos already! It's spring in Africa!

In terms of sightseeing, we ticked off all the musts: we travelled on the "wine route", flew in a helicopter, went to the beach, took pictures with penguins and the cutest seals. One of the biggest highlights were the whales. Huge sea giants emerged, then almost disappeared, then sprayed jets of water into the air and beat their tails on the waves. It was a beautiful and unforgettable show in the ocean! And now it's time to say goodbye to this amazing country that gave us so many wonderful discoveries. We lived together, relaxed together, got to know each other -  and the country we were in. Our travel bosses Gloria and Nastya are romantic, cheerful and very wonderful girls. I truly wish everyone could see South Africa with NePaketniki!

Hi, Masha and Dima!)) The tour to South Africa was just awesome, we made tons of precious memories, and brought back hundreds of photos that have not yet been sorted out and a lot of impressions that we'll look back on for a long time!)) We were honestly amazed by the timing, as well as how well our entire route was detailed and planned; traveling on our own, I'm sure we would not have covered even half of everything that you showed us, and there a lot to see in South Africa)

The country opened up to us gradually during the tour, every day leaving a more striking impression than the day before.

And this, no doubt, was due to all the efforts that you have put into the planning of the tour.

About the hotels - each hotel was as comfortable as possible, rooms had all the amenities, locations were superb and the staff were at their best. Staying in South Africa for a day longer than the group, we chose another hotel on our own and honestly, we could have chosen better 😂 so we know what we are talking about)

Of course, without our travelboss, the trip would not have been so “smooth” - absolutely all issues: from unplanned weather changes and route adjustments to organizing a PCR test, were resolved quickly and effectively, our group did not even notice most of these changes)) even placing an order in a restaurant or hustling the service along - all of it was done by Gloria or Tata 👌👌 I will miss their attention and care🙏

What we had were 9 days of unbelievably cool views, incredible landscapes, a long-awaited ascent to the Cape of Good Hope, unforgettable meetings with penguins, elephants, giraffes, zebras and a lot of African prairie inhabitants, the most delicious wine and fresh oysters, fur seals and whales - all in the company of people who share your delight at every single second, somewhere at the edge of the world, thousands of kilometers from home❤️

Thank you for the opportunity to feel all of this))

P.S. We look forward to traveling with you to Japan as soon as the opportunity arises and the borders open again))

  • When go to Kenya?
Here are some points to consider: 1. Price: The most expensive trips coincide with the great migration (July to October) and Christmas/New Year holidays. Mid-range prices hold from November to March, and the lowest prices can be found from April to June. The most noticeable difference will be in the 5-star hotel prices. 2. ‘Wow’ effect: July to October is when the great migration takes place, and that means your chances of seeing thousands of animals (and a hunt or two) are significantly higher. You’ll see all kinds of animals during the other months as well, but nowhere near as many wildebeest and other antelopes. There’s also a little bit of luck involved: for example, we’ve always seen the most thrilling hunts in Amboseli National Park, which has nothing to do with the migration in Masai Mara. 3. Popularity: Most tourists come to Kenya during the migration season or the Christmas season. 4. Weather: The summer months are cooler than the winter months. Masai Mara National Park sees rainfall year-round, regardless of the season - the other parks are wetter in April and May.
  • Is safari safe?
Yes, you should be in a jeep during the safari. Animals do not perceive people from a jeep and do not react to them.
  • How about communication while traveling?
We install unlimited WI-FI in the jeep, so you always have access to the Internet. The hotels have WI-FI. However, in some places, the Internet can catch badly.
  • Who will be our guide?
All our guides are licensed and professional drivers with 12+ years of experience. They know the habits of all animals and travel around all national parks without a navigator.
  • Is it possible to change the duration of the tour?
Of course, in any case, we will recommend not to leave at least the Masai Mara park, without it a tour to Kenya can hardly be imagined. For those who want more, we can suggest several options.
  • Is it possible to go with children? Is the price different for children?
Yes, of course, you can. In our practice, the youngest participant in the trip was 3 years old, the hotels have a large selection of varied food, and for a young child, we will prepare a child seat in the jeep.
  • Can a sunset flight be arranged?
No, that is absolutely impossible. All flight decisions are strictly regulated by the government, and balloons take off in the morning (or early afternoon in winter).
  • Will you help us buy tickets?
We’ll suggest the most convenient flights, but you will need to purchase the tickets yourselves.
  • Is there someone who accompanies us on the tour all the time?
The driver will take you to and from each activity. Our team provides you with guides and instructors for your scheduled activities - the excursions, horseback and ATV ride. The concierge is always in touch with you 24/7 to remind you about the timing, order a restaurant or cancel a reservation, order a taxi, and so on.
  • Can I make changes in the program?
Of course, you can add or remove an activity. In addition to the standard plan, we can offer you a beautiful sunrise/sunset picnic, or renting a vintage car and enjoying a scenic drive.
  • Is the hot-air balloon flight included in the price?
Of course, the flight is part of your tour.
  • Is this tour private?
Everything is private, for just your group, except the hot-air balloon flight. You have a private guide, private instructors for the ATV and horseback rides, and a private transfer. The balloon flight is for groups, but we can arrange a private one for you, at extra cost.
  • How do I pay?
Payment is made via SWIFT transfer. You can also split the payment in two - 30% to secure your spot at the time of booking, and the remaining 70% a week before, or on the day of your arrival in Cappadocia.
  • Who will meet us at the airport?
Our trusted driver will be waiting for you just outside the arrivals area.
  • What time is the hot-air balloon flight?
The flight takes place at dawn. In the summertime, that is around 5 am, and in the winter around 7:30 am. Sometimes the flight happens a little after dawn (around 30 minutes later) if the weather conditions are tricky. During the winter months, balloons might occasionally fly at lunchtime, but the amount of balloons is much smaller than in the morning.
  • Which airports should I look at?
Kayseri (drive time to Cappadocia: 60-70 minutes) or Nevsehir (drive time 40 minutes). Flights to Kayseri are often cheaper than flights to Nevsehir. There are also more flights to Kayseri. From both of these airports, a private transfer is included in your tour price. It is also possible to fly to Ankara airport - but we suggest considering Ankara only if there is a direct flight from your city, and you want to avoid connecting flights. It takes about 3-4 hours to drive to Cappadocia from Ankara and costs about 200€ one way. This transfer option is not included in the overall tour price.
  • Can we shorten the tour?
Of course, you can. But doing that lessens your chances of taking the hot-air balloon flight, as weather conditions change every day.
  • Can our balloon flight get rescheduled or cancelled?
From June to November, the probability of flying is ~ 95%, from December to March ~ 50%, and from April to May ~ 80%. If the weather conditions aren’t favourable (wind, fog), the flight is cancelled, and we transfer your booking to the next day.

Book your tour with us because:
